Lessons Learned

I made an important discovery today.

I was incredibly sore when I went out for some practice, and I figure it was because I didn't cool down after yesterday's game. So from now on, I cool down. It was pretty terrible. I could barely jog, and juggling was hard. I also pulled two muscles in my warm up. That'll be great for tonight's game.

Yesterday I had a men's indoor game. And despite the normal happenings, we actually won! 6-2 was the final, it was great. I scored one pretty nice one where I snuck in behind their two defenders, and one-timed a nice through ball through the goalie's legs without even looking at where I was shooting. I assisted another goal (Two on one, tapped to the other person), and then played defensively.

Hopefully, I'll be a little less sore for tonight, and hopefully that ankle stops getting aggravated. I also aggravated it while practicing today, but we'll see.

With so many games, I haven't been practicing like I should, but I've decided that I should just practice and not mind being tired for the game - I ought to get better that way.

So, right now, I'm going to go out and work on my bad foot.
