"blnjhf, bnff! Hahaha!" "Haha, yeahhh!"

Today I played squash for two hours. Hopefully it helps with my agility and reaction time. The conditioning is also a plus too. My squash outfit is pretty slick, I'll post it sometime.

But, I just thought I'd let you know that.

Title courtesy the lady I asked for directions. Sebastian ought to be familiar with this one.

Reffing starts soon, and I'm looking at another job that involves teaching kids soccer. I really, really want that one. One day, I also want to get UEFA qualified. That would be a slice.

"So Statdler, I played squash the other day!"
"Isn't that a fruit?"
"Nope, you're mistaking that for what Greg looks like when he plays!"
"D'OHOHO!"

Seriously though, you guys are going to love the outfit.

Oh... Clever Girl...

My weekend's been busy, but yesterday I played in the first time for a while. My team had a couple hours of practice time at the indoor field we go to, so we decided to make it a wind-up, with a two hour game, then go to Boston Pizza after.

I scored a few (on Derek, no less), assisted a few, and found the my hamstring still isn't perfect. I may go see a physio, I think I've got a good bit of scar tissue that may need breaking up, I still can't fully load it with sprinting.

My touch feels better though, but I'm curious to see if that while of a lay-off made me better (somehow?). Jay occasionally notes how he came back from injury and had somehow attained the dribbling skills he's got today, I hope I'm that fortunate.

Also, post title today is courtesy Jurassic Park, which I saw for the first time last week.

Digestor - New and improved with pulsating action*

So, I've been incredibly busy (but not busy enough to not do this*), and still pretty injured.

But I haven't forgot about you guys.

I manged to find time to play that silly game... I named my creation the digestor because of the sheer instability of the entire thing and launching capabilities. Enjoy.

I managed to to touch a ball a few times today, all aspects of my game feel better. Hopefully it's the case, as opposed to the fact that I haven't played for a while and it all seems good.

I ran one 40-yarder in pain at 6.71.

Today on my feedbag is a meal I had a looong time ago. Months, even, with great company. The toad burger and the tomato-basil soup from the Toad pub is positively amazing. Bacon on the burger, and the soup was good enough for two bowls.

Burger - 4/5
Soup - 5/5

Oh my dear, hilarity ensues.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am reporting to you live from my university campus where I decided to sleep over. I've had a couple pitchers of beer with my good friend Brenden, but I'm here, and I am having the time of my life.

What better time to do a game report though?

Tonight, I had one. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it, due to work.

However, my last game, I did alright, if I haven't already mentioned it. I made a fantastic pass (juggling in air near their net to attract people, then pass off to my open team-mate), and I'm pretty sure I scored during that game. Regardless, it was a great time.

I'm still injured though, and due to school, my practice, update, and otherwise free time has fallen by the wayside. It's probably a good thing, though, I'm working my ass off at school...

(Incredible, somebody just walked by with no concept that I am stowed away, inside this room.)

... And also at work. Tuition's gotta be paid somehow.

Well, I ought to get to bed. As fast as time is passing, I have to go to sleep and wake up at 7:00 tomorrow. Fortunately, this is better than at 6:00, which I would have normally had to wake up at.

Cheerio, lads! And remember, a few beers can do you very well.

But don't become an alcoholic, like myself.

My life is a mess.

Oh, and today's feedbag is nachos from Elephant & Castle. Order them without onions and olives, with extra cheese, and with a cup of sour cream and salsa for all of your pals. You will not be disappointed. 4.5/5. Next time on Greg's Feedbag - The Toadburger - Seriously, just read it.

Caution Hot (Chocolate)/One-shot

I have been incredibly busy this week, and slightly unhealed in the hamstring department of my body. I met many, many people at my school this week, many beautiful and sweet ladies, and made a lot more friends. I suppose that happens when you're at the university for 12 hours a day.

Thursday night I had a game at which I felt 95% healed, and am able to sprint at about 90% speed. I played and scored the first goal for my team, I got a breakaway and received a pass from Jay. I took one touch, and then shot it, and it went in.

I got tripped before the end of the half, and I put my hamstring back by about 15%. I went back on and took it easy but made some good passes, so I think I'll be alright from here on out.

At one point the ref called a shot that hit the post a goal for the other team, and because of that, the game was tied at 3. Because of this, we miss the one-off playoff match against the first-or-second-best team for the summer indoor title.

Hopefully I can handle tonight's double outdoor header/semi-final.

I'll get back to you soon.
