My pal Jordan and I were bored yesterday at about midnight, so he started getting strange ideas. He wanted to get up to some general mischief, but I vouched against it, when suddenly, he had an amazing idea.
He wanted to go tobogganing. I told him that this was excellent, and that I'd try to round up some people for midnight tobogganing. I didn't, so it was just the two of us. The liquor stores were closed, so we ended up drinking a tiny bit of rum I had, and split half a bottle of strawberry zinfandel wine that my mother had declined to drink, judging by the dust on it. It did the job sloppily.
Until close to four we had tobogganed, using a box I had lying around, a piece of cardboard, and a sled-like thing that Jordan purchased from Walmart, where we tried to convince a girl that started talking to us to come. She didn't.
It was all truly hilarious, and the night went quickly. I got home and slept until two, and since I've been cleaning and such, but I've got to bounce as I have a double header to be off to.
As usual, I'll let you know how it goes, as well as the zombie-fighting at Dan's later tonight, if my night goes that way.
